Compressed Air Systems Seminars |
|
Introducing
the completely re-designed SM series!
The new SM 7.5, 10 and 15
hp units combine Kaeser's optimized Sigma Profile airend, high-efficiency
motors, double flow cooling fan and a unique "split-cooling" air
flow design to create the quietest, most efficient compressor in its
class.
Look at these ten key
features of the redesigned SM models: |

|
 | Tri-voltage motors and Wye-Delta start
are standard. |
 | A new cabinet and component layout
significantly reduces noise by 2 to 3 dB(A). |
 | Flip-up panel on the top of each unit
conveniently displays the required maintenance schedule and service
parts |
 | Two observation windows provide a quick
visual check of belt tension and fluid levels without shutting down
the equipment. |
 | A single, removable service panel
provides easy access to all maintenance components from one side. |
 | New airend design with higher
displacement results in slower airend speeds. |
 | Incorporation of our four-zone
air-cooling design eliminates pre-heating, resulting in cooler
temperatures to extend lubricant, electrical components and motor
life. |
 | Kaeser's new, cooling fan design offers
increased airflow while reducing overall power requirements and sound
levels. Approach temps have been reduced. |
 | A honeycomb-shaped 4-micron inlet filter
improves filtration and extends filter life. |

We
have a solution to protect the sensitive components inside your
Kaeser compressor. These Protection Filters effectively
prevent
debris from entering the air inlet. They are made of a washable, 3D
polypropylene media, which draws in and traps airborne particles.
No system modifications or electrical hook ups are necessary. |
